BARBRI offers free MPRE prep to support law students. It's our way of introducing you to BARBRI quality before you need bar exam prep.
When should I take the MPRE?
Most students take the MPRE during their 2L or 3L year, often after completing their Professional Responsibility course. The exam is offered three times per year (March, August, November).
What score do I need to pass?
Passing scores vary by state, ranging from 75 to 86. Most states require an 85. Check your state's bar admission requirements for the specific score needed.
How long should I study?
Most students study for 1-2 weeks before the exam. If you've taken Professional Responsibility recently, you may need less time. Our course is designed to be completed in about a week.
